Are you a Prepper?

Do you have a bug-out-bag?   Are you ready to barter?   Can you live off the grid?

Preppers are concerned about ecconomic collapse. If things get bad people may face food shortages. We all can't be homesteaders or grow our own food. Those living in the city may experience urban panic. Catastrophic events could lead to social unrest. Self reliance, self defense and survival gear are pressing issues. Yet, preppers are not all doom and gloom. It makes sense to be ready for emergencies and natural disasters. Shouldn't we all have preparedness in mind?

Do you know there is another kind of prepper?  Are you prepard for the ultimate catastrophic event?

The Bible says we need to be ready to meet God.

prepare to meet thy God... Amos 4:12

Hell is a prepared place for the wicked.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:41

God is able to cast us into hell for our sin.

But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him [God]. Luke 12:5

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

In his love, God is preparing a place for those who receive his salvation.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3

Jesus Christ came in the flesh (body) so he could pay the penalty for our sins.

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: Hebrews 10:4-5

God does not want you to perish in hell forever.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 [Repentance means to admit you are a wicked sinner according to God's holy standard.]

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Are you ready to repent of your sins and trust Jesus Christ as your Savior? Why not ask him to be your Savior today?

Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people.” Are you prepared to go to Heaven?
