Cowboy Bucking Bull Rodeo Bronc Busting
Re-Ride. That’s what it’s called when you get a second chance. A top rodeo bronc rider gets bucked off. A bull rider gives it all he’s worth, just to get thrown off and eat dirt. It happens to the best, especially when the bull is having a good day! Sometimes the bull or bronc doesn’t perform his best. The cowboy doesn’t score. The judge may offer him a re-ride, another chance to earn some points. He gets a second chance to ride. What an opportunity for that cowboy, to get a second chance to make it good. We know that life is not that way. We only go around once. The Bible says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27) Once you die it is either heaven or hell. There are no second chances to wash away your sins after you die. Now is the time to get right with the Lord.
God knows all about our sin. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (Romans 3:10)
Christ took the punishment in our place. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Christ rose from the grave. I [Jesus] am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. (Revelation 1:18)
You can be forgiven through Christ. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (Romans 3:22-24)
Jesus Christ wants to be your saviour. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)
Call upon the Lord today – there are no second chances in hell. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)
